Sightseeing Train during beutiful Nights of Lights

NIGHTS OF LIGHTS

A 30 minute Lightseeing Tour on Santa’s Big Red Train through St. Augustine’s historic district during our holiday season.

• Available from November 22 through January 2.
• (no tours 11/26, 12/5, 12/25 & 12/31)
• Free parking available at Ripley’s Museum with ticket purchase.
• Guests may board the decorated trains at the Visitor’s Information Center on Castillo Drive.
• You’ll depart from this location and enjoy cheerful holiday music while viewing over 2 million twinkling lights. To add to the festivities each guest is given special glasses (delivered directly from the North Pole) that will make your light viewing spectacular and unforgetable!
• As you approch the pinicle of lights at the City’s Plaza, you can get off the train to view and take your holiday photos. Just catch the next train through to get back.
• Now that you have experienced St Augustine’s Nights of Lights, your tour ends at the City Gates Train Station where you will be greeted with delicious hot cider and home made cookies. The perfect ending to a perfect night.
• Start your family tradition with Santa’s Big Red Christmas Train for endless memories.
• Tours begin every 15 to 20  minutes from this location.

More than two million tiny, white lights create a magical holiday atmosphere in the Nation’s Oldest City during the Annual Nights of Lights Celebration in St. Augustine, tracing its origins to the Spanish tradition of displaying a lighted white candle during the Christmas holidays.

Right on the street during Frist Friday Art Walk

FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK

Our Sightseeing Trains provide free transportation during one of our most popular cultural events during St. Augustine’s First Friday Art Walk, held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month.

Enjoy the latest exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments at over 20 participating art galleries. Our Red Sightseeing Trains offer a complimentary shuttle service to most of the participating galleries & museum. Start your evening at Ripley’s Believe it or Not Mueseum or the San Sebastian Winery and run a continuous loop approximately every 30 minutes.

The Ripley’s Belive it or Not Museum is one of the newest locations added to the route where dozens artist from around the area get to show off and sell their work. Guests have the oportunity to browse, shop and talk directly to the featured artist. Be sure to include Ripleys in your plans for a fun night during the art walk.

First Friday Art Walk signals the beginning of monthly exhibits and special grand openings as each gallery hosts a free open house, usually offering visitors wine, hors d’oeuvres, and live music. Local artists are often in attendance to describe their work. With live music performed at numerous locations.
