The Sightseeing Trains are on a tight schedule and come by every 15 to 20 minutes at each of our 22 locations.

WHAT ABOUT DISCOUNTS

WHAT IF I’M ONLY RIDING FOR ONE DAY?

ALL of our tickets are valid for 3 consecutive days from date of purchase.

ARE THE TRAINS AND THE TROLLEYS THE SAME?

Certainly not. Here’s why:

  • Our Red Trains are St. Augustine’s original tour and have been operating since 1953.
  • Our Red Trains sit lower to the ground, allowing for easier on-off access.
  • Our Red Trains visit more locations (22 stops vs. 19)
  • Our Red Trains stop directly at the City Plaza and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!
  • Our Red Trains travel down the brick-paved Aviles Street (Stop 14), the oldest street in the Nation’s Oldest City… the trolleys can’t fit.

HOW LONG IS THE TOUR IF WE DON’T GET OFF?

Approximately 80-90 minutes. There really IS no beginning or end of a tour. All of our trains stay on the road continuously from 8:30 a.m. until about 5 p.m. One round trip, from wherever you get on, lasts about 80-90 minutes.

WHAT IF I NEED A RESTROOM BREAK?

Most of our 22 stops have public restroom facilities within a short walk. Return to your Red Train stop and another train will be by in about 15-20 minutes to pick you up and continue the tour.

WHAT IF I’M HUNGRY AND WANT TO FIND A PLACE TO EAT?

Many of the Red Train stops are within a short walk to dining establishments, especially Historic St. George Street, stop 6. Don’t hesitate to ask your Train conductor or check our tour map now so you can make a plan for lunch. Return to your Red Train stop afterwards and another train will be by in 15-20 minutes to pick you up and continue your tour.

CAN I EAT ON BOARD THE TRAIN?

Our Red Train conductor might get jealous, but he won’t get between you and your munchies!  We do, however, ask all of our guests to be courteous, clean, and mindful of the safety and comfort of others.
